At present I paint in acrylic and watercolour. Besides this I love photography. My Nikon D200 accompanies me almost everywhere. I often use my photos to assist my paintings. I then like to blend in abstract themes.
I especially like to paint and photograph nature. It might be a mountain landscape in spring light, an orchid or train running through summer meadows- there are so many beautiful subjects to capture.
I was born in 1968 in the county of Surrey in England. With the help of my father, who is a professional fine artist and designer, painting was always an important part of me.
During school art had a special place for me. However, a career as IT-Specialist in London took me away from my art for many years. My move to Germany gave me the chance to re-think my priorties and I decided that art should be at the forefront in my life again.
